The Acoustical Society of Finland organizes every other year the Akustiikkapäivät (Acoustics Days) conference, which is open to all people interested in acoustics. The conference brings together Finnish professionals, researchers, students, authorities, consultants, media and business representatives, and others interested in sound, acoustics, and noise. During the Acoustics Days, timely presentations and posters are heard from experts in different subdisciplines of acoustics. The Acoustics Days papers are compiled into a printed Proceedings book and are made available on the website of the Acoustical Society of Finland as Open Access publications.
In 2025 the Acoustics Days will be in lahti, November 11-12. This year we also welcome non-finnish-speaking people in Finland to contribute and submit their abstract and paper to the conference. During the conference at least the poster session will be available for non-finnish presentations, although most of the oral presentations will be in Finnish.
